2022

On Friday, July 29, 2022, we received a petition for a recount of votes for County Council District D. This recount was held in person at our office at 133 Industry Lane in Forest Hill on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at 9:00 am. 

Canvass was held in-person at our office and streamed on our Facebook page. Ballots that are reviewed via our ballot cam. 

Canvassing of ballots and equipment was held at our office at 133 Industry Lane in Forest Hill on the following dates:
– Early Voting Scanners Canvass – Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at 10:00 am
– Mail-In Ballot Canvass I – Thursday, July 21, 2022, at 10:00 am
– Provisional Ballot Canvass – Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 10:00 am
– Mail-In Ballot Canvass II – Friday, July 29, 2022, at 10:00 am

At its April meeting, the Harford County Board of Elections approved merging precincts 3-18 and 3-23 with precinct 3-01 at Southhampton Elementary School. 

The Harford County Board of Elections held a special meeting on April 19, 2022 at 5 PM. At this meeting, the board voted to use Abingdon Elementary School on Election Day, approved the use of 60 polling places instead of 61 polling places, and merged precincts 6-05 to 6-07 and 1-15 to 1-09.

At the March 23, 2022 meeting, the Harford County Board of Elections voted on changing the early voting site from the Jarrettsville Fire Hall to the Jarrettsville Elementary School due to the change of election dates. 

The election dates have been changed. Election Day is now Tuesday, July 19, 2022 with Early Voting beginning on Thursday, July 7, 2022 and running through Thursday, July 14, 2022. Voting hours are from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.

2021

At the emergency meeting on December 27, 2021, the Harford County Board of Elections approved changing the EV03 early voting site from Aberdeen Activity Center to the Havre de Grace Activity Center. 

This change was approved by the State Board of Elections at their January 27, 2022 meeting.

At the December meeting, the Harford County Board of Elections approved the following polling place changes:

    • The abolishment of precinct 4-08 and moving those voters into precinct 5-02.
    • Combining precinct 3-07 at Mountain Christian Church with 3-03 at Fallston High School. 

At its July meeting, the Harford County Board of Elections approved the following polling place changes:

    • Changing the location of the polling place for 1-02/1-07 from Trinity Lutheran Church located at 1100 Philadelphia Rd, Joppatowne, MD 21085 to Joppa Magnolia Fire Hall located at 1403 Old Mountain Rd S, Joppatowne, MD 21085.
    • Changing the location of the polling place for 1-17/1-27 from The Highlands School located at 2409 Creswell Rd, Bel Air, MD 21015 to Church Creek Elementary School located at 4299 Church Creek Rd, Belcamp, MD 21017. This will combine the precincts with 1-20.
    • Changing the location of the polling place for 1-45 from Joppatowne High School located at 555 Joppa Farm Rd, Joppatowne, MD 21085 to Magnolia Middle School located at 299 Fort Hoyle Rd, Joppatowne, MD 21085.
    • Changing the location of the polling place for 3-17 from the Wakefield building at  Homestead – Wakefield Elementary School to the Homestead building located at 900 South Main Street, Bel Air, MD 21014.
